In 2016, Boys & Girls Clubs of the East Valley established the Stan Scott Hall of Fame to honor those with outstanding volunteer efforts and financial support to the Club. We are proud to honor Peggy Hoag and The Hoag Family Trust as the recipient of the 2017 Stan Scott Hall of Fame honoree at the 25th Anniversary Banquet of the East Valley’s Youth of Year. Peggy currently serves on the BGCEV Emeritus Board. Peggy joined the board of directors in 1994. During her 19 year outstanding volunteer tenure, Peggy served with honor and distinction in various volunteer capacities. She is a community member who has given of her time and talent to support the organization.

Her service has included working on the BGCA National Conference Planning Committee. BGCA Desert Area Council Member and an active attendee and participant annually at the BGCA Peggy Hoag Receives Stan Scott Hall of Fame AwardNational Conferences Peggy was instrumental as a of the BGCEV “Positive Place for Kids” Capital Campaign Guadalupe Branch. In fact, the BGCEV Guadalupe Branch Peggy Hoag Teen Center is in her honor due to a significant gift investment. Peggy, truly believes the children and teens in the Town of Guadalupe need a facility of their own; a place to go and grow!

“Peggy’s servitude and her tenure on the Corporate Board has been a true blessing to the BGCEV youth and families,” stated Dennis Marcello, VP of Development & Strategy.

Additionally, Peggy was the catalyst to assist the BGCEV grow their Educational Scholarship Fund that literally has impacted the lives of hundreds of club members who went on to colleges, trade & vocational schools and now are self-reliant adults in their communities.
