Boys & Girls Clubs of Globe announces the hiring of New Branch Executive < Return to News

GLOBE, AZ. Boys & Clubs of the East Valley, Globe Branch, announces the hiring of its new Branch Executive at the Globe Boys & Girls Club:  Aimee Staten. 

Aimee most recently was the CEO for the Boys & Girls Club of the Gila Valley in Safford.  As CEO of the Safford Club, Aimee rejuvenated both membership and finances of that Club, going from 12 members and two weeks’ worth of operational funds to 300 members and a stable financial situation, with more than $250,000 awarded in grants.  Aimee has become a passionate and staunch advocate for Boys & Girls Club and is excited to continue to fulfill her passion by working at the Boys & Girls Club in Globe, where she is relocating in October. 

Prior to being CEO of the Safford Club, Aimee was the managing editor of the Eastern Arizona Courier for eight years.  Aimee’s journalism career spanned over 15 years before she became a non-profit executive.

Aimee received her A.A. degree in Business Finance from the University of Phoenix and will receive her B.S. degree in Business Management in May 2016 from the University of Phoenix.  Aimee comes to us with many skills, including grant writing, marketing, program development, financial management and interpersonal communications. 

Aimee’s husband, David, is the new pastor at Apostolic Lighthouse church in Globe, and her daughter, Aubrey, will be a junior at Globe High School.  Please join us in welcoming Aimee Staten as the new Branch Executive at the Globe Boys & Girls Club.
