Boys & Girls Clubs of the East Valley (BGCEV) is pleased to have been selected to receive a $10,000 donation from Cox Charities. This gift is part of nearly $543,000 in donations given by the organization to Arizona nonprofits this year. BGCEV is one of several local nonprofit organizations receiving funding this year that comes from the generous contributions of Cox Communications employees.
The donation will help BGCEV provide programming and membership fees for East Valley youth and teens.
BGCEV is one of 89 Phoenix area nonprofits receiving $543,250 in funding this year from Cox Charities. Grant funding comes from donations and fundraising efforts from Cox employees, Cox partners and Cox customers themselves.
“We applaud the good works of Boys & Girls Clubs of the East Valley in supporting youth and teens,” said John Wolfe, Cox Senior Vice President and Southwest Region Manager.
Since the inception of Cox Charities in 1996, over $7 million has been awarded to Arizona nonprofit organizations over the past 22 years. Cox Communications’ commitment to philanthropy has been an integral part of the community, and is dedicated to supporting local programs that positively influence children and advance educational and technology initiatives.
We look forward to a continued partnership with Cox Communications in the future and genuinely appreciate all that they have done for BGCEV throughout the years.
