Summer Day Camp FAQ’s

Here are some of the most Frequently Asked Questions about our Summer Day Camp Program. If you do not see the answer to your question, please call the club near you or our Program Service Center at 480-820-3688. Each club may have subtle differences, please ask your Branch Executive for any specific questions you may have.

Q: Do you offer military discounts?
A: Yes. A Military family receives a one-time $100 credit to be used towards Summer Day Camp.

Q: Do you provide transportation?
A: Not during the Summer Day Camp program.

Q: What type of meals do you provide?
A: All of our clubs provide Lunch. Many of the clubs also provide a breakfast and many also provide snacks. Please check on the individual club you are interested in to see their meal program.

Q: Do you have adequate staff ratio with staff to kids on a daily basis?
A: We have an area staff in each area along with a group leader and 2 LIT workers supervising the children. The groups normally consist of about 20-30 kids in each group.

Q: Do you help families with scholarships or financial assistance?
A: We do have financial assistance for families that need the support.

Q: What are the requirements for Financial Aid?
A: Aid is based on the free & reduced lunch scale.

Q: Do you allow 5-year-olds to attend your facility?
Yes, however, they MUST have completed all day Kindergarten during the school year 2016-2017.

Q: How does drop off and pick up happen?
A: Parents need to walk-in and check their child in and out.

Q: How do field trips work?
A: Works on a first come, first serve basis. A child must attend at least three days in a week to attend a field trip. Each field trip will have an additional cost. Every child will need to provide a permission slip to attend a field trip.

Q: Can I use multiple discounts?
A: No

Q: Can I bring someone as a guest?
A: Yes for up to 2 days, but must pay the daily rate and cannot attend field trips.

Q: Do you offer to tutor during Summer Day Camp?
A: Not specific tutoring, but we have the Summer Brain Gain program at each club.

Q: How much does Summer Day Camp cost?
A: Each club has their own pricing. Check each club for rates. A child must be a member of the club and have paid the $25 annual membership.

Q: Do I need to attend an orientation even if my child is already a member or came last year?
A: Yes, each child must have a parent or guardian attend the orientation at the club they will attend.
