Peanut Butter & Jelly Drive
WHEN: July 1-31, 2008 WHERE: Valley Bashas' and Food City Stores
Thousands of Valley children go without a healthy snack many of us take for granted – a peanut butter & jelly sandwich. It’s a simple meal that can do so much for a child while encouraging a healthy lifestyle. From July 1- 31, you can help thousands of Valley children make smart, healthy choices through 12 News’ Peanut Butter & Jelly Drive by donating $1 or more at the registers of Valley Bashas’ and Food City stores. One hundred percent of all donations will benefit the three Valley Boys & Girls Clubs.
On the morning of Saturday, July 12, be sure to stop by the Bashas’ located at the corners of Dobson & Chandler Blvd (1920 W. Chandler Blvd.) for special promotions and live broadcasts with 12 News. Also, peanut butter and jelly donations will be accepted on this day only.
